Volunteer Opportunity
This Friday night, there will be a meeting concerning submitting a charter for a high school. Lori Berrigan will be speaking about the charter process. We are looking for 1-2 adults who can help us with child care during this meeting. It is a great way to earn some volunteer hours. Contact Mary Beth Feldman at 745-1831 if you can help us in this manner.
Special Executive Session of the APC
There will be a special executive session of the APC on Wednesday, April 3, at 5:00 pm.
High School Charter Initiative
There will be a high school charter initiative meeting on Friday, April 5, at 6:30 pm at Birchtree Charter School. Lori Berrigan will be speaking on the charter process and the deadlines for various steps. We need everyone who shares an interest in beginning a Waldorf-inspired charter high school to attend. “Many hands make light work.” Please RSVP via birchtreecharterschool@gmail.com if you are able to come. Also, please bring a finger food to share.
Summer Camp Planning Meeting
There is a meeting scheduled for this Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. for those interested in working with the BPG to run summer camps this year. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to Lori Berrigan at palmerlifeways@gmail.com. If no one RSVP’s, the meeting will be cancelled.

Prospective Parent Meeting
TONIGHT! March 21, 6:00 pm – If you are enrolling your child in the Lottery for the 2013/2014 school year, we strongly recommend that you attend this meeting to see what our school has to offer.
Craft Fair Planning Meeting
Birchtree Spring Craft Fair Planning meeting this week – Thursday (March 21) at 2:00 in the Parent Workroom.
* Posters are done up, and ready to hang around Palmer and Wasilla. There is a master list of locations if you are able to help hang them up, or if you have ideas on other good places to hang them up.
* The outdoor vinyl signs are in and ready to be hung up, if anyone is interested in helping put the large one up on the Birchtree Fence.
* We are still looking for possible vendors, so if you know of anyone interested it’s not too late.
* Planning the layout of the Birchtree Spring Craft Fair.

For our current families, the intent to return form can be found here. This form must be completed by April 5, 2013 in order to be guaranteed a place for your child.
If you are a NEW family, the intent to enroll form can be found here. This form must be completed by April 12, 2013 in order to be enrolled in the April 17 Lottery.
