2012/2013 Enrollment info for new families

If you are a new family interested in enrolling your child(ren) at Birchtree for the 2012/2013 school year fill out an Intent to enroll form by April 13th, 2012. Any forms received after this date will be added to the waitlist in the order received following the lottery.

 Please review the following pertinent dates regarding enrollment:

March 26, 2012: The intent to enroll form will become available on the website. If you would like your child to attend Birchtree, you must fill out this form by the due date (April 13th, 2012) in order to place your child in the lottery.

April 3, 2012: Prospective Parents Meeting @ 6pm. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren) at Birchtree, attend this informational night to learn more about our program. See the powerpoint for this presentation here.

April 6, 2012: School Tour and Pastries for Parents @ 8:30am. Come get a tour of our school while it is in session, and then spend some time socializing with current Birchtree Parents.

April 11, 2012: Prospective Kindergarten Parents Meeting @ 1pm. If you are interested in enrolling your kindergartener at Birchtree, we encourage you to attend this informational session to learn about how a Waldorf-inspired kindergarten differs from a traditional kindergarten.

April 13, 2012: Intent to Enroll Forms due. If you would like your child to be a part of the lottery, you must turn in the intent to enroll form by this date. We will add the names of any students with forms turned in after this date to the waitlist in the order they are received following the lottery.

April 18, 2012: Lottery @ 7pm. The lottery will fill any open spots in the school, as well as create the waitlists for next year.

August 2, 2012: Prospective Parents Meeting @ 6pm. If you are weren’t able to attend the April 3rd meeting and are  interested in enrolling your child(ren) at Birchtree, attend this informational night to learn more about our program. If you are a new family, attending an informational meeting with be required before officially enrolling your child.
