Mrs. Lora Mahoney
Position: K-3rd SPED Teacher
Biography:
Lora Mahoney has been working with the Mat-SuSchool District for 12 years. She spent the last two years teaching Kindergarten at Goose Bay Elementary School. She previously enjoyed working for seven years as a special education preschool teacher and taught intensive resource for two years to children in grades k-5 at Cottonwood Creek Elementary School. She and her husband, Mike Mahoney, raised their 22 year old daughter, who they continue to guide. Lora has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She enjoys most outdoor sports, cooking, playing guitar and singing. Her indoors hobbies include jewelry making, cross stitch, and writing songs.
